Fromage Steaks and Subs is open 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 8 p.m. on Friday. Dine in and take out available - call 863-956-2100, located on 17-92 between Haines City and Lake Alfred, just two miles off Hwy 27 This is the BEST restaurant to come around since I don't know when. 

Fromage (fraw-mazh) is the French word for cheese. This place has THE BEST Philly style cheesesteak outside of Philadelphia. All subs are served on a freshly baked French baquette. Fromage is family owned and operated by a family who has over 40 years combined experience in the restaurant industry. The chef/owner has been a fine dining chef for over 20 years and has run some of the area's finest restaurants - this experience shows in the food and service at Fromage.

Fromage runs daily specials to include Maryland blue crab cake sub, classic reuben with house made thousand island, beef and Swiss with horseradish cream, 1/2 lb. "Fromage" burgers with fries, the best chicken salad you have ever tasted, and pulled pork, to  name a few. 

Salads - did I mention salads? Wow - all the dressings are made from scratch and you have NEVER tasted this stuff before. The hand cut French fries will take you back to a sunny boardwalk day in Ocean City, walking around with a bucket and some vinegar  - you will taste no better fries this far south!

Fromage has the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The omelets, chipped beef gravy, sausage gravy and biscuits, double smoked sweet Lebanon bologna, eggs to order, and breakfast sandwiches that would make a grown man cry (I just might!).

Everything in this place is made fresh (including the pickles) with NO preservatives, NO MSG, NO trans fat. All the dressings, spreads, and hand cut fries are made fresh every day! You will never leave this place hungry - fresh sliced meats and cheeses. "Forget about it!"

Don't let me forget the Friday night freshly breaded Haddock fish fry from 2-8 p.m. which is the best around. Have a cold beer or glass of wine and you have a perfect night.
